YOUNGBLUT, Keith - Passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 14, 2017 in his 84th year. Devoted and loving husband to the late Tina (nee Potyok). Loving father to Edward (Lisa), Donald (Connie) and the late Kenneth and Patricia. Adoring grandfather to Lauren, Gretta and Amalia. Beloved eldest brother to Ross, Seaforth; Patricia Rush, Wiarton; Lyle (Yvonne), Blyth; Lynn (Amanda), Vineland; Helen Smith (Don), Listowel; Bruce (Sharon), Ilderton; Betty, Toronto; Marjorie Withrow, Sarnia; Marion Warren (Sam), London; Margaret (Lew), Toronto; and the late Stewart and Murray. Jovial uncle to sixteen nieces and nephews. Dear brother-in-law to Larry Potyok (Jane), Kingston. Keith graduated from Queen’s University with a degree in Mining Engineering in 1959. He had a distinguished career in the mining industry, working in Ontario, Quebec and Newfoundland, which included working as the Manager of the Kidd Mine in Timmins until his retirement.
Visitation will be held at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Wednesday, August 23 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Timmins, Ontario on August 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
