My Aunt Helen was always very kind to me when I was young. I remember that she always seemed to have time for me and to take what I had to say seriously, she made people feel important and valued. A very kind-heated and good-humoured person. To my cousins Paul, Janet and Jo, I am very sorry for the loss.

Just heard of this sad news today.I have dear and lovely memories of Aunt Helen from my childhood .... family dinners full of lively conversation, summer holidays at camp and cottages, musical celebrations, corn roasts, volleyball games, Christmases, birthdays, anniversaries so many more fun times. Aunt Helen always greeted us with a warm and friendly smile and a genuine listening ear, interested in what we were doing and what was happening in our life. We will miss you and remember you always Aunt Helen. Sending our love and sympathies to Paul, Janny and Jo and their families. From Stephanie, Chris and family.

Sincere condolences to Paul, Janny, Jo and all of the family. Aunt Helen and Uncle Roly were starring characters in the formative days of our lives. Keepers of the cousinhood. So many memories of times together.
To me, Aunt Helen always was and always will be a gentle and caring spirit. A heroine really.
I shall also always remember our never ending literary discussions, particularly her earnest insistence (in the face of my teasing skepticism) about the excellence of Sumerset Maugham. In her honour I will read one of his stories tonight - one of the poignant ones so I can smile and shed a tear or two.
Rest in peace Aunt Helen.
Love from Gary and Rosemary

Aunt Helen was a lovely person; always ready with a kind word and gentle laugh. I have such happy memories of days at the Camp, Christmas dinners together; cross country skiing down in the valley behind Parkview Hills Crescent, phone conversations on everything from the state of affairs in the world today to the aches and pains of aging to the colour of my cat's eyes. I will miss her terribly. To Janny, Jo and Paul, I hope you can take comfort in knowing your Mom had such a positive impact on so many people. Love to you and your families, Cathy

Sending condolemces to Paul, Janny and Jo and their families. Aunt Helen to me was a gentle, calm lady, always had a sweet smile and listening ear. I remember her invitatations to come for dinner at Parkview Hills when I was a nursing student at TEGH, a short trip on the O'Connor bus. Mom loved going to family BBQs in the backyard, and getting together for New Years with brothers and sisterinlaws. Picture them reuniting with joy with those who have gone before them.
