He was a man of service who persevered, knowing full well he would not receive all that he was promised, because he believed his efforts would deliver a better life for those he assisted.
Mom and I will never forget you Dad. God Bless.

An addendum to the aforementioned entry based on my conversations with the multitude of respected attendees at his visitation- a quiet professional; tried, tested and dedicated to achieving excellence in his field, independent of notoriety, accolade - much like his father who was also a respected physician, he was disciplined, confident and highly motivated.

Dear Phil, Feroza and Joe,
Apologies fro this belated message.
Sarah and I were very sorry to hear about Dil.
He was a lovely man in the true sense of the word, kind gentle and funny.
As you know we very much enjoyed our time in Canada and a large part of it was meeting Dil, who taught, helped and looked after us.
Please accept our deepest sympathy.
Love from Liverpool.
Dave and Sarah xx
