Eleanor grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the daughter of Edith and Henry Hill. Eleanor was a graduate of Norwood Collegiate, class of ‘49, where Charlie and she met. Eleanor enjoyed 80 summers at the family cottage in Matlock, MB. She attended University of Winnipeg but left when she got a great job offer to work at the Grain Exchange. At St. Stephen’s in Sudbury she met the friends she would hold dear for the rest of her life. At London’s Siloam, she was passionate about organizing the Yard Sale and serving at the Chicken Barbeque. Eleanor was a life-long baker. She made renowned brownies, date squares and coffee cake.
