MEISENHEIMER, Susan - It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Susan Elizabeth Meisenheimer, née George, following a tragic car accident on August 3, 2018, aged 59. Beloved wife of Paul Meisenheimer, loving mother to Genevieve (Andrew), Danielle (Joshua), Jonathan, and Nicholas (Kristen), proud grandmother to Benjamin, Colin, Clara, and Noah, and caring sister to David, Douglas, and John. Predeceased by parents John (“Jack”) and June George. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Susan was a dedicated piano teacher in London for many years. She was a lover of music, reading, nature, and was a devoted “mom” to her dogs Holly and Drake, who will also be sorely missed. Susan was a kind and gentle person whose loving and generous spirit endures in those whose lives were touched by her.
A private funeral will be held on Wednesday August 15th, with a private burial to follow on Thursday August 16th. Memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
