Dear Cathy and Jim I am so sorry about your mother’s passing. She was a wonderful, human being and will be greatly missed. She had such a positive outlook on life and made an impression on all that came to know her. I will miss our conversations, emails and outings with the “girls”. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

Dear Cathy, Jim and family,
I send my love, prayers, and hugs to you at this sad time. You have lost a special mom and grandmother. I have lost a special friend whom I was blessed to have known. I remember fondly all the times spent with Arlene & Bob as neighbours in Waterloo. The world has lost one amazing lady. I share your pain.
Love, Margie "from the other side of the wall"

My heartfelt sympathy to Arlene"s Family. I had the privilege of knowing Arlene through golf at Oxbow Glen with her friend, Mary Jane Rivard. Arlene was a kind, wonderful and beautiful person. She will be greatly missed! Keeping you all in my prayers during this difficult time. My sincere condolences.

Cathy and Jim
You have our deepest sympathies. I mourn a beautiful, vibrant woman who apart from all of the wonderful accolades which she received, was the moving force behind me getting to meet my first cousin, her husband Bob, and to get to know him a bit before he passed away. She rallied the Ontario Slenos to come together with the rest of us for yearly reunions, which have enriched our lives. She has moved on to a better place.

My dear and wonderful friend of 70 + years will truly be missed. We grew up together as only children on Grand Blvd. In Montreal. We met when when we were about 7 years of age. We were maid of honour for each other’s weddings and also god parents for each other’s children. She was a scholar at school winning scholarships at high school and truly in love with her husband Bob and very devoted to her family Jim, Cathy and granddaughters.
She had a strong faith and was a very positive and classy lady and never complained when faced with life’s difficult situations.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jim and Cathy and your families. So sorry we are not there to give you a hug. We are in Mexico. God bless you all at this time.
