Michelle Bauer

Death Notice

BAUER, Michelle - Beloved Daughter and Sister, Michelle Ann Bauer, 37, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 21st, 2020 in her home. She was born September 11th, 1982 in London, Ontario. Michelle was a graduate of The University of Western Ontario with a double Major in Media Information & Techniculture and Fine Arts. An immensely talented Artist and Graphic Designer, Michelle employed her skillset across many mediums with no shortage of generosity. Her intrepid design work along with her vast portfolio of art not only pleased her clients, but filled her family’s home with her one of a kind pieces. Above all, Michelle loved her family. Spending time with her parents as well as her sister and nephews, Michelle was always willing to take her talents beyond the canvas and into the kitchen where everyone reaped the benefits of her incredible cooking. To her, that time was precious, and to us, cherished. Michelle is survived by her parents, Michael and Angeline Bauer; her sister, Andrea Barbuto; her brother-in-law, Michael Barbuto; and her adoring nephews whom "Aunt M" loved beyond words, Jackson & Vincent. Family, friends and others whose lives Michelle touched will always remember her as someone whose light shone bright. And if a person shines bright enough before they pass, then their brightness will shine for all time. As Michelle would want us to remember - The times we crack are only to let the light in. And her light will live on forever. There will be a celebration of Michelle’s life this summer with details to follow. In lieu of flowers and cards, contributions to the Canadian Mental Health Association are welcome.
