INGRAM, Bernice (née Corbett) - In her 88th year on September 24, 2020, Bernice Ingram of London, born in South Buxton, and formerly of Oakville. Beloved wife to Ken through 67 years of marriage. Loving mother of Brian (Christine), Susan Baird (Stephen) and Wendy Payette (Shane). Proud grandmother of Erin, Joel, Hilary, Megan, Mark, Tara, Lesley, Justin, Kyle, Jenna, and Leah, and great-grandmother to eleven. Reunited with parents Charles Corbett (1950) and Marion (Corbett) Martin (2007), sister Phyllis Ripley (1998), and brother Gordon Corbett (1997). Bernice was devoted to her family. She enjoyed gathering everyone around the dinner table. Grandchildren were spoiled by the abundance of fresh baking at the ready. A private committal at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Bernice’s life will be held at a later date. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies.” (John 11:25)
