Oliver Pixton

Death Notice

PIXTON, Oliver (Olly) - It is with hurting hearts and a profound sense of loss and sadness we announce the passing of Oliver (Olly) Wallace Pixton, on October 3, 2020, just two weeks shy of his 94th birthday.

Olly was predeceased by the love of his life Doreen Lois Pixton, 2019, and his son, Brent Oliver Pixton, 1985. He leaves behind his cherished daughters Kim Gray (Stirling), Penny Clark (Dave), his daughter-in-law Margie, treasured grandchildren Hailey, Erin, Alec, Scott, Ryan, Tara, and his beautiful and adored great-grandchildren, Keegan Oliver Stirling (Hailey & Eric), and Layla Doreen (Erin & Matt). He was also a much loved and admired Uncle of Michelle Logan, and Christopher Brown of California.

The resilience Olly demonstrated in the past 17 months, tackling head on the grief of losing his beautiful wife of 69 years while continuing to care for his family, and battling his own illness, is an inspiration to all.

Accomplishing his goal, and seeing the birth of his great-grandchildren brought him an abundance of happiness and joy, and we are so pleased he was able to meet and enjoy them both.

Due to COVID restrictions a small family service will be held at Harris Funeral Home to celebrate this adored best Dad ever, Father-in-law, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa "GG", and friend. Our profound thanks go to the amazing staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice, for their wonderfully attentive and compassionate care. We are forever grateful that our Dad received his wish to spend his last days at Hospice.

Please consider donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospice, or May Court Club of London, feeding children, nourishing hope (in memory of our Mom). Forever loved and missed in our hearts. Love you more Dad.
