Death Notice
McROBERTS, Lynne Elizabeth - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lynne Elizabeth McRoberts of London on December 13, 2020 at the age of 72. Lynne is remembered by her loving husband Robert (Bob) McRoberts and sons John and David and daughters- in-law Nichole and Anne-Marie. Daughter of the late Walter John and Catherine Pope. Beloved sister of Anne and her husband Ross Holmes. Cherished grandmother to Sydney, Emily and Oliver and aunt and great aunt to many. Lynne will also be remembered by the many who, although they were not biological, were cared for as if they were her own sons and daughters. Cremation has taken place. Lynne will be dearly missed by the many lives that she has touched. She was a dedicated president and member of the Army & Navy Unit 393. She is also remembered for her many years of passionate volunteer coordinating work with the Learning Disabilities Association. She loved her time visiting with family and friends at the cottage, creating cherished memories with those who meant the most to her. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a small private family service will be held at Harris Funeral Home on Friday December 18, 2020. Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations under Lynne’s name to the Army & Navy Unit 393, who proudly support the veterans and Parkwood Hospital.

I remember Lynn fondly growing up with the McRoberts boys in London. She was an absolute sweetheart. Lynn was kind enough to rent her family cottage to me and my family this past August and was very accommodating - she even left us a gift basket with water guns, toys and treats for my niece and nephews. Lynn you will be missed by so many. Dave, John and Bob - my sincere condolences to you, and to all the friends and family that loved (and was loved by) your amazing mother and wife. Thinking of you all with a very heavy heart.
