Robert L. (Bob) Baron
BARON, Robert L. - Peacefully with family by his side at Parkwood Hospital on Christmas Day, 2020, Robert Louis Baron of London age 73. Beloved husband of Karen. Loving father of Kimberly (Jason Walters) of Thamesford, Stephanie (Jason Isabel) of Ilderton, and Andrew (Lubna) of London. Cherished grandfather of Abigail, Jack, Emmalyn and Colton. He will be fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Randy (Lenna) Whyte, Darryl (Dixie) Whyte, Ken (Colette) Whyte and Nancy (John) Carson, as well as many nieces and nephews, and cousins out west. Bob was born in London, Ontario, attended school here and graduated from UWO. He worked for London Life Insurance Company before joining the HR Personnel Department of UWO until retirement. He was very involved with the London Presbytery, serving as Moderator and New St. James Representative until 2020. Bob enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his Lake Huron cottage for many years. Visitation by appointment at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Thursday, July 15 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm; RSVP to 519-433-7253. Private family service at Harris Funeral Home on Friday, July 16 at 11 am. A Zoom broadcast will take place. Please email the funeral home at email@example.com for an invitation. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or New St. James Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
