Visitation on Wednesday, December 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond.

Service

A memorial service will be conducted at Metropolitan United Church, 468 Wellington St. at Dufferin Ave on Thursday, December 30 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Dr. Jeff Crittenden.

Death Notice

Sample, Kenneth Charles - After a short illness at University Hospital on December 25, 2010. Beloved husband of Dorothy for 47 years and father of David and Catherine. Born in Essex County on December 15, 1929 only child of Daisy and Stanley. Graduated in Science from U.W.O. in 1951. Worked at Agriculture Canada for 36 years, retiring in 1990. Volunteered for the Canadian Diabetes Association as zone captain and canvasser for the residential canvass in old north for 32 years. He was an active member of Metropolitan United Church for nearly 60 years. Member of the Probus Club of London, Nature London, U.W.O. Senior Alumni. He enjoyed swimming, cycling, gardening.
