Archie Leach

Obituary

Archie Murray Leach (1953-2024)

Archie peacefully passed away at home with his loving daughters by his side on September 8, 2024 in his 71st year.

A proud father to Martha Leach, Victoria Leach (Steve), and Sarah Leach (Mark). A lifelong friend to Wendy Leach. A devoted “Papi” to Violet and Sophie Graham. Loving brother to Linda (Les) Nemeth, Uncle to Lindsay (Alan) and Scott (Christabel) Nemeth, and Scott Petepiece and Tracy (Pat) Moore.

Archie will always be remembered for his optimistic outlook on life and the way he lived life to the fullest. He loved nothing more than making memories with his family and friends. His generosity helped enrich people’s lives in so many ways. He inspired others to live life to the fullest in work and in play.

Starting his career as a CPA with Clarkson & Gordon, he excelled quickly to become the youngest partner at Deloitte & Touche. Inspired by his clients, he pursued a life of entrepreneurship.

Mutually appreciated and respected by his business partners, Don Roussy, Ewart and Ed McLaughlin, Paul McLaughlin, Jeff Nicholson, Margo and Jamie Crosbie, Ben Martin, Kyle Sobko, James Rossi, Dimitri and Ilias Korakianitis, Michelle Debus, and Matt Gillespie.

Archie’s favorite part of business was dreaming big, working hard, inspiring others, and seeing those dreams come to fruition.

Most recently, he was most excited by his precious granddaughters Violet and Sophie, the growth of SonderCare, and all things happening at 100 Kellogg Lane.

He was a first hand example that with hard work, perseverance, and determination, nothing is impossible. This outlook on life impacted and inspired so many people.

In the words of Frank Sinatra, he lived his life “My Way.”

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses at the Jupiter Medical Centre, the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre and Bayshore HealthCare.

Forever loved and missed by his girls.
