CHRIST, Armin – It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Armin Heinz Christ, with family by his side at Victoria Hospital, London on Thursday, June 20, 2019. Devoted husband to Berta. Proud father to Heinz and his wife Lucy. Loving grandfather to Tammy Ameen and her husband Ashlim and Jason Christ. Cherished great-grandfather to Braiden. He is predeceased by 4 brothers and a sister, and survived by many nieces and nephews.

Armin was born January 14, 1935, in Worms-Heppenheim, Germany. He immigrated with his wife Berta to Canada in 1956 where they laid roots to start their family in Ontario.

He loved to create and construct, he made us laugh and brought music into our lives. With silver in his hair, and gold in his heart, he will always be remembered and cherished.

Cremation has taken place with private family arrangements. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

We knew so little that day,
That God would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
