BARR, Barbara – It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Barr announces her passing in her 75th year on Monday, March 16th, 2020 at Victoria Hospital. Loving wife of the late Donald Barr, mother of Gena (Clyde) McCoy, Todd (Nicole) Horton and the late Janine Horton. Cherished grandmother to Madison and Nicholas McCoy, Sarah and Evan Horton and Jacob (Sarah) Horton. Loving sister to Bill Schafer. Proud great grandmother to Haley Horton. Barb will be missed by her friends, neighbours and the many individuals she built relationships with through her work. Barb cherished her time with her dog, Daisy who she also leaves behind.

Although we are all saddened by the loss of Barb, we take comfort in knowing that she rests peacefully with her late husband Donald Barr and late Daughter Janine Horton.

In keeping with Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private gathering at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses who took special care of Barb.
