7-9 pm Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home. A memorial service under the auspices of the P.E.O. Sisterhood will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:30 pm.

SERVICE

The funeral service will be conducted at St. George’s Anglican Church, 227 Wharncliffe Road, on Thursday, May 11 at 10:30 am. Reception to follow at the church.

Obituary

WHITTAKER, Barbara – Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Sunday, May 7, 2017, Barbara Joan Whittaker of London in her 84th year. Daughter of the late William and Edna Whittaker and sister of the late John Whittaker. She will be fondly remembered by her cousins Pat and Gayle Ferris, Marilyn McPhee, Brian and Patricia Hobbs, Kathy Ferris and Blanche Savage. Predeceased by cousins Michael, Rhonda and Kerry Ferris.

Barbara worked at the London Public Library until her retirement. She was very involved in St. George’s Anglican Church where she sang in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.

Visitation at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Wednesday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be conducted at St. George’s Anglican Church, 227 Wharncliffe Road, on Thursday, May 11 at 10:30 am. Reception to follow at the church. Interment Woodland Cemetery. A memorial service under the auspices of the P.E.O. Sisterhood will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Memorial contributions to St. George’s Anglican Church Renew Program or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
