Obituary

SPRINGETT, Barry – With family at his side at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Friday, April 12, 2024, Barry Philip Springett of Oakville in his 76th year, passed away peacefully.  Beloved husband for 50 years of Sharon.  Loving father of Greg (Kellie Superina), Bill (Jen), and Kate (Mike Patterson).  Proud Grandad of Robbie, Avery, Anna, Emily, and Lauren.  Dear brother of Catherine (the late Richard Christopher) and Robert Springett (Kareen).

Barry was born and raised in London Township and loved his early life on the farm.  He graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Commerce and was certified as an Accountant (CPA). Barry enjoyed his career in business, but most of all he cherished time with family.  Always active, he coached baseball and hockey, and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.  He achieved the level of Queen’s Scout and had a life-long love for the outdoors, most recently making maple syrup.

Memorial contributions to Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada would be appreciated.
