Obituary

McDonald, William George ‘Bill’ –  Bill passed away peacefully, in palliative care at University Hospital Tuesday July 26, 2022. He was in his 82nd year. He was the beloved husband of Beverley for 60 years.

Loving dad of Lisa and Dan Larkin, Laura and Adrian Zondag. Caring grandpa of McKenzie and Phil Wiese, Connor Larkin and Reese Chambers, Em Zondag and Griffin Riggillo. Delighted great papa of Enzo Wiese.

Brother and brother-in law of Florence and John Penner. Brother- in law of Dave and Lorraine Van Schaik, Paul and Susan Van Schaik, Rick and Kelly Van Schaik. Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by parents Helen and Albert.

Bill was a Letter Carrier for Canada Post for 42 years; he loved his job! When Bill finally retired, he took up golf fulltime with a great group of golf friends.  Bill will be remembered for his endearing smile.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Friday August 5,2022 at 1:30 pm.
