Obituary

GARLICK, Brad – After a lengthy journey with Parkinson’s, Bradley John William Garlick passed away peacefully in his home in London on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. He was in his 71st year.

Son of Jack and Mildred Garlick of Chatham, Ontario. Lovingly remembered by his children Dean Garlick (Klara Du Plessis), and Corinne Garlick (Peter Karas) and grandchildren Emma and Ivy Karas. Dear brother of Lynn Gore, Vicky Jackson, Kim Garlick, and Jackie Pynaert.

Brad had music in his heart, and he would share it every chance he got, whether by the campfire with his guitar, or on the Karaoke stage. Family time was very important to him, and his children share many fond memories of summer camping trips, and weekends at the lake. He was proud to be a Church youth group leader both in Chatham and Strathroy, Ontario. Even though he struggled for many years with Parkinson’s, he inspired many with his positivity and love for life.

Visitation at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond on Saturday, November 13 from 1-3 pm with a private ceremony to follow. Masks, proof of full vaccination status, along with government issued ID are required for those 12 years of age and older in order to attend the funeral home visitation and service.

Memorial contributions to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated.
