VanOstrand, Carol – At University Hospital, London, Ontario on Monday, June 11, 2018, Carol Louise VanOstrand, nee Darling, age 85. Loving mother of Chris (Kathy) of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Robin (Randy) of London, and John (Joanne) of Waterloo. Proud grandmother of Joshua and Amanda (Heidi). Dear sister of Bonnie Gay Hart. Predeceased by parents Arthur and Estella (Dennee) Darling and sister June Sedgemore. Sadly missed by long-time friend Tom Allen and former husband George VanOstrand.

Carol was born and raised in Watertown, New York. She graduated from Watertown High School where she was active in all sports. In 1969, she and her family moved to London, Ontario and she became a proud Canadian citizen.

At Carol’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to London Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated.
