CORNELIA G. BUCK – February 4, 1936-August 18, 2020
“Death lies on her like an untimely frost upon the sweetest flower of all the field.”
It is with much sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Cornelia Gretha Buck on August 18, 2020 in her 85th year. She will be truly missed as the beloved wife of Timothy James and the loving mother of Stephen, Jeffrey, Margaret and Janet, and their spouses, Andrea, Cathy, Uldis and Edwardas. Corrie will always be fondly remembered by her eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, as well as by her dear sister-in-law, Linda Buck. She will be sorely missed by her niece Lucy, and her many friends and family overseas, Magda, Hans, Hennie and Inie among others, whom she touched with care and kindness. Corrie shared a lifelong passion for travel with her husband Timothy James and all her family. She will be remembered lovingly by those closest to her as a caring, loyal and supportive friend. We would like to thank the staff at Queen’s Village for their exceptional care of Corrie for the last four years.
According to Corrie’s wishes there will be no visitations or funeral; a private family burial has taken place on Friday August 21st at Woodland Cemetery in London, Ontario, near the last resting place of her parents, Dick and Lena Alberts.
“We leave this sullied tumultuous shore and cross the Styx
To find a place of peace and quiet and gentleness evermore.”
