VAN KLEEK PARKER, Diane – Peacefully at her residence on Monday, September 4, 2017, Diane Elisabeth Van Kleek, nee Parker of London in her 78th year. Beloved wife for 58 years of Bob. Loving mother of Leisa of Laguna Beach and Jon of Calgary. Loving Grammy of Drew of Santa Barbara and Elisabeth of Austin. Sister of the late Joan Wellman (Don) and Laurie Parker. Survived by sister-in-law Vivian. Dear Aunt of Mary and Sandy Wellman and great-aunt of Katherine, Rachel, Anna and Eric (Victoria) and great-great aunt of Noah and Jake. Fondly remembered by the Van Kleek, Charlton, and Cuddy families and the Thompson family in England. For over 25 years, Diane was a passionate volunteer with NICU at Victoria Hospital. She was a very loyal friend to many. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Parent and the many caregivers who looked after Diane so well. Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 511 Cheapside St. at Maitland, on Friday, September 8 at 11 am. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Children’s Health Foundation would be appreciated.
