Obituary

Dianne Elizabeth Wilson

It is with much sadness that the family of Dianne Wilson announces her passing at University Hospital on June 2, 2020 in her 75th year. Predeceased by her husband Stephen Wilson and parents Wallace and Violet Hawthorne. Survived by her son Shawn (Heather) of Red Deer, Alberta; her daughter Jennifer (Dave) of London; her son Chris of London; her son Shad (Aura) of Kaslo, BC.; and grandchildren Cole, Aidan, Avery, Fynn and Alexis.

Dianne was a much-loved teacher. She lit up any room she entered and made friends wherever she went. She will always be remembered for her big personality highlighted by her sense of humor and sharp wit. She had a strong commitment to her family whom she was most proud of and whom she loved dearly. Dianne was adored by all her family and friends.

She leaves behind a long list of friends whose lives she touched in so many ways. We know that on passing she was greeted on her next journey by her soulmate Wilson. We will miss her dearly.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the London Health Sciences Foundation would be appreciated.
