PANAGEAS, Elias – Passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, Elias Panageas of London in his 89th year. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years Athanasia Panageas; children Georgina (George), John (Christina), Tula, Cathy (Stavros); grandchildren Louis, Angela, Gus, Sophia, Mark (Lisa), Vicky (Chad), Alexia (Jovan), Elias; great-grandchildren Alexandra, Kaeden, Mackenzie, Ethan, Georgia, Athena, Kylee, Richard, Brodee, Brianna; surviving sister Diamando Diamont; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. Born and raised in Xirokampi, Sparta, Greece. He was a lifelong resident of London, Ontario. Visitation on Sunday from 6-9 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond. The funeral service will be conducted at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 133 Southdale Road West, on Monday, March 20 at 11 am. Prayers in the funeral home on Sunday at 8 pm. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
