Elizabeth (Liz) Sheffield Ruby (nee Knox)

Born on a farm at the edge of the village of Norham, Ontario, on July 5, 1941. Died peacefully at home with her entire family around her on June 5, 2023. Survived by her husband of 60 years Ralph, her daughters Jill and Ellen (Marcel Drouin), son Geoff and grandson Will. Loved dogs, downhill skiing, cool jazz, dancing, travel, cruising and a well-chilled martini. We bid goodbye to a sweet and gentle soul.

As per her wishes, there will be no formal funeral. A celebration of life will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
