CLEMENTS, Ernest E. (Ernie) – Quietly, surrounded by the love of his family at University Hospital on Saturday, October 10, 2020, Ernest Edward (Ernie) Clements of London in his 95th year. Loving husband and cherished companion for 27 years of Betty Adele Russell-Clements. Predeceased by his beloved first wife Patricia Elizabeth Clements, nee Sherritt. Dear father of Paul Edward Clements (the late Ann) of Powell River, B.C., Mary Elizabeth Clements of London, and Patricia Ann Clements of London, grandfather of Tricia Lillian Soltys (Matt) and Krista Mary Currie (Mark), Laurel Clements, and great-grandfather of Braeden, Avery, Alice, Grayson, and Addison. Also sadly missed by his step-daughter Jodi Anastasakis of Waterdown and her sons Michael and Adam, and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Lillian May Pearson and Iva Pearl Marsden.
Son of the late Elizabeth, nee Finlayson and Edward Clements. Attended UWO in London. Retired from Suncor Energy, Suncor Marketing in 1986. Former long time member of Sunningdale Golf and Country Club, London and Plantation Golf and Country Club, Venice, Florida. Ernie also had a great love of music, and played a mean saxophone and clarinet in many big bands.
Private family service at Harris Funeral Home. Cremation followed by interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
