Geneva (Salkeld) Wardrop

Loving wife of recently deceased George Wardrop, died peacefully on August 8, 2024 at the age of 80.  Born on September 29, 1943 in Vancouver, British Columbia.  Geneva is survived by her three sons George, James and Daniel, and her eleven Grandchildren Celia, Charles, George, Jim, Betty Jane, Katherine, Tommy, Frances, Joseph, Emma, and nine Great-Grandchildren Eddie, Braxton, Royce, Grace, Priscilla, Scarlett, Luca, Vienna Rose, and Jude.  She was predeceased by her husband George, Grandson Daniel, Parents Wilson and Geneva Salkeld and Siblings Wilson, John, Bill, Nancy, Helen, Kathleen. Geneva was known for her devotion to family: Children, Husband, Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and many Nephews and Nieces; her recipes: Tapioca pudding, shrimp salad, Christmas stuffing, roast beef and turkey dinners a little overcooked LOL. “We love you old Girl, you will be missed and never forgotten”.

Visitation on Tuesday, August 20 from 7 – 9 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, London where the Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 21 at 12 noon.  Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery.
