Beloved husband to his wonderful wife, Yvonne (LaPorte) Fotheringham for over 39 years. Predeceased by his beautiful daughter Vanessa and loving father to his sweet Deanna. A proud Papa to his caring granddaughter Tyra. Beloved son of the late Gordon Sr. and Hazel Fotheringham and son-in-law of the late Charles LaPorte and surviving mother-in-law Marie. A loving brother to Terri Boorne (George); And a caring brother-in-law to Bernie Valkenier (Max), Theresa Przewieda (Ted), Marilyn Stacey (Rob), Dianne Tellier (Paul), Janet Tingley (Steve) and Charlene Marsman (Arnie); And a fun-loving uncle to many nieces & nephews and their families.

Gord’s beautiful smile demonstrated the strong love he had for his family. His love for music and dancing was such a joy to witness. Gord enjoyed being with family and friends. He was always willing to give a helping hand and enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays. Gord was a gentle loving man that will be missed by many.

A special thank you to the staff at Henley Place, where Gord was a resident since 2019.  Their care and support over the years during Gord’s stay there, and his last days in palliative care is very much appreciated.
