MURRAY, Graham Arthur – Graham passed on Friday, August 16, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer, that was thankfully filled with some days of pleasure and laughter with family. Son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Murray. High School sweetheart and husband of 64 years to Joan Murray (Ireland). Father of Debbie (Ross) Stokes, Nancy (Craig) McLarty, Toni Hansford (Dave), Mark Murray and Dave Murray. Loving grandfather of Leigh-Ann and DJ Hansford, Chris Corrigan (Kat), Jennifer Hatch (Jason), Ashley McLarty and Aaron Stokes (Carlee). Great-grandfather of Lily, Cole and Quinn. Predeceased by his sister Mary McDonald (John) and brother Jim Murray (Mary), brother-in-law Doug Ireland (Vera) and sister-in-law Peg Harding (Jim). Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Graham was with CFPL his whole working life. He was an avid outdoorsman and boater and enjoyed many years at the cottage on Cameron Lake. The Bruce Peninsula was a place he roamed since he was a boy and he passed the love of the Bruce onto his children. Cremation has taken place and at Graham’s request there will be no funeral service.
