PATON, Jack – After a brief illness, at University Hospital on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, Jack Racey Paton of London in his 95th year. Beloved husband for 71 years of Ila Paton, nee Bestard, formerly of Grand Bend. Loving father of Rob and his wife Jan of Southampton, Dann and his partner Cathy of Ottawa. Dear Grandpa to David of Kirkland Lake and Andrew of Mississauga. Predeceased by his brother Cecil (Elsie), sister Margaret (Roy Shier) and their daughter Janeen, and by foster-sister “Little” Margaret Clarke, nee Maas (Roy Clarke). Uncle of Dennis and Wayne Paton of Parkhill. Jack served with the RCAF in WWII. He was an electrician with Hale Electric for 42 years, and a member of IBEW 120. The funeral service will be conducted at The Church of St. Jude, 1537 Adelaide St. N, on Monday, April 2 at 11 am, with visitation preceding at the church from 10 – 11 am. Reception to follow. Interment at West Williams Cemetery, Sylvan. Memorial contributions to The Church of St. Jude would be appreciated.
