Obituary

FUSS, James Conrad

1930 – 2019

Jim Fuss passed away peacefully at Mount Hope on Thursday, July 25, 2019. He is predeceased by his wife Rose (Nemanishen) of almost sixty years. He is survived by his children: Jeffrey (Vicki), London, ON; Karen Fuss-Sommer, Albuquerque, NM, Kelly (Rob) Gripper, Salt Lake City, UT; his grandchildren Gillian, Joshua, Kayleigh, Pauley, Emily and Lucy; his brothers-in-law Gerald (Rosemary) Nemanishen and Ralph Chappell. He is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth Fuss, his brother, Bill (Belva) Fuss and his sister. Margaret Fuss and his sister-in-law Margaret Chappell. He will be remembered fondly by all his nieces and nephews.

Jim was born and raised in Hay Township, ON. After Electrical Apprenticeship, he moved to Alliston, ON. Soon after, his sister, Margie brought Rose to Ontario and they fell in love and got married. He worked at Camp Borden for 35 years as a Contracts Administrator. They lived in Alliston and raised their three children.

Upon retirement, Jim and Rose moved to St. Josephs and wintered in South Texas. When health became an issue, Rose and Jim moved to Chartwell Retirement Home and then Mount Hope, London, ON. Thank you to the staff at Mount Hope for their exceptional care of Jim during his final days.
