JANET MARGARET (HARING) ELLWOOD

Janet Margaret Ellwood passed peacefully on January 19, 2024 in residence at the Henley Place long-term care home, in London (ON). Janet survived her husband William (Frank) Ellwood and is survived by her son, Wayne Ellwood. Janet was born in Stratford in 1925 into the Haring family. The family of nine consisted of two brothers and eight sisters. Janet was one of the younger children and is survived by one sister, Bev Walsh, and several cousins.

The Ellwood family lived in many towns as they followed Frank in his evolving career but most notably Oshawa, Ottawa and Montreal. Janet alternated between some early employment and her life as a mother and homemaker. Janet and Frank retired to London where they lived a very happy retirement and made many friends at the Sunningdale Golf Course.

nJanet was dedicated to her family and friends. Those who knew her will join with the family in feeling the loss. There will be no funeral service. No cards, donations or solicitations.
