Visitation prior to the funeral service be conducted at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Friday, January 19 from 10 am - 12 pm.

SERVICE

The funeral service will be conducted at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Friday, January 19 at 12 noon.

Donations

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.

Obituary

PITCHELL-WRIGHT, Janette – Peacefully at the Village of Glendale Crossing on Saturday, January 6, 2024, Janette Boyd Pitchell, nee Watson of London age 81.  Beloved wife of Michael Pitchell.  Predeceased by her first husband Larry Wright (2000).  Loving mother of Michelle Rego (Dana) and Christopher Wright (Danielle).  Proud Grandma of Tiffany (Ian), Kristen and Olive and great-grandchildren Jelil, Ayla and Kivah.  Also missed by step-children Craig and Heather and their children Kaley, Sierra (Jesse), Natalie and Taylor.

Janette was born in Girvan, Scotland and came to Canada age 16.  She worked her entire career as a seamstress in the fur industry.  Janette was an incredible mother who loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed. Special thanks to the caregivers at Glendale Crossing for their compassion and attention to Janette and family.

The funeral service will be conducted at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, on Friday, January 19 at 12 noon, with visitation preceding the service from 10 am – 12 pm.  Interment Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
