Jeffrey A. Krause

Obituary

KRAUSE, Jeffrey A. – It is with a sense of indescribable loss and sadness that we are faced with the sudden loss of Jeffrey Allen Krause at the age of 52 on Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

Born in Sarnia, Ontario, Jeff was the youngest son of Donald and Sharon Krause. Loving father of Ben and Lauren Krause. Wonderful brother to Cheryl, Kelly (Steve Hodge), Michael and Michele (Dave Speir). Jeff will be greatly missed by his 11 nephews and nieces as well as all his beloved aunts and uncles.

Jeff will be remembered as an amazing father, devoted son, the “funny uncle”, brother, cousin and friend. His spontaneous sense of humour and playful presence lit up every room he entered. He enjoyed a good time and was often the life of the party. People would naturally gravitate to Jeff due to his kind and gentle manner.

Jeff worked for Brinks Canada for 27 years where he made friends easily and took pleasure in interacting with the customers.

Jeff enjoyed Sunday football, movies, biking, collecting hockey cards and sports memorabilia, and always had a project on the go. He was an important part of many great memories made on Lake Huron. He coached his children’s soccer teams and was able to create fun from the most routine situation.

He spent many summers in Rondeau at the family cottage surrounded by friends and extended family. He thoroughly enjoyed the company of his cousin and closest friend Scott. He loved to socialize, lend a helping hand, and was a highly regarded chicken wing connoisseur.

Jeff will long be remembered in our hearts.

By Jeff’s wishes cremation will be followed by an intimate family gathering to celebrate Jeff’s life. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
