Morant, James –

Peacefully, surrounded by family at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, James Frederick Morant of London in his 73rd year. Beloved husband for 45 years of the late Melanie Morant (2022). Dear father of Jeffrey (Michelle), Mollie Rose, and Bridget (Andrew Reed), all of London. Cherished Grandpa to Sophie and Benjamin Rose, James and Henry Morant, and Frederick Reed. Beloved son of the late James and June Morant and son-in-law of the late Joseph and Nancy Quinn. He is survived by his brother Bill. 

Jim will be missed by many dear family, friends, and neighbours. He was a hardworking man who was devoted to his family.

Visitation on Sunday from 2-4 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 21 at 1 pm. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre (formerly the London Regional Cancer Program) or to the charity of your choice.
