OGILVIE, James (Jim) – Peacefully passed at peopleCare Oakcrossing on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Jackie. Dear father of Richard Ogilvie and his wife Barbara, the late Robert Ogilvie (2000) and his wife Anna, Kevin Ogilvie and his wife Sandra and Bonni Ivey and her husband David. Proud grandfather of Christy, Katie, Krysia, Joasia, Tyler and Nicola, and great-grandfather of 4. Jim retired in 1983 from Bell Canada to his cottage at Long Point Beach. He was a proud Lion for over 55 years. Visitation on Friday, December 7 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond. Reception to follow the service. Private interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario or to McCormick Dementia Services (formerly Alzheimer Outreach Services) through the McCormick Care Foundation would be appreciated.
