MERNER, Joanne – Peacefully at University Hospital on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, Joanne Theresa Mercedes Merner, nee Bedard (RN) of London and formerly of Zurich, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late William D. “Bill” Merner. Loving mother of Michael Merner of Mount Brydges, Patricia Gray (Scott Howell) of Grand Bend, Mary Catherine (Scott Houghton) of Powassan, and Richard Merner (Patti). Cherished Grammie of Michelle, Kait, Nicola (Jon), Daniel (Laura), Christine (Andy), Patrick, Andrew (Derica), Timothy, Taylor and Chloë, and Great-Grammie of Henry, Jack, Oliver, Desmond, and Margo. Predeceased by her thirteen brothers and sisters. Visitation on Saturday from 2-4 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James at Richmond, where the funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, December 4 at 2 pm. Reception to follow. Cremation and interment at a later date, St. Boniface Cemetery, Zurich.
