It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, John Manherz, in his 91st year at Parkwood Palliative Care Unit. Beloved husband of the late Mary Margarette (2012). Our Dad will be lovingly remembered by his children Chris (Karen), Carol (George) and Marianne (Ian). Dear grandfather to Kristine (James), Kevin (Karen), Jonathon (Jessica), Matthew, Nathaniel (Paisley), Mike (Melissa), Ginn (Dan), Ashley (Ryan). Also, loved by his great grandchildren Brentyne, Holly, Gavin, Kaylee, Shai, Lukas, Ryder, Salem and Theo. John will be deeply missed by his loving partner Ann Milling and his siblings Joe, Julia, Rudy, Kay and Nick, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandson Daniel and his siblings Frank and Rose. Our Dad lived a long and active life enjoying his family and had a love for dogs and horses. Our family would like to extend a thank you to the 4th and 6th floor Medicine of University Hospital and the special people at the Palliative Care Unit at Parkwood. In lieu of flowers please donate to the War Amps or Parkwood Palliative Care Unit. A memorial service will be planned after Covid restrictions are lifted.
