Obituary

WASSON, John – Peacefully, surrounded by family, at University Hospital on May 3, 2024, John Spencer Wasson of London, aged 81.  He was born in St. John, New Brunswick on May 30, 1942 to John and Elizabeth Wasson, née Spencer.  Graduate of The University of Western Ontario, PhD Chemistry, 1969.  Post-doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin.  He enjoyed his career with both CAE, Montreal, and Honeywell, London.

John had a lifelong interest in chemistry, mathematics, and physics, and he never stopped learning.

John will be lovingly remembered by Louise, Peter, and Danny, and many friends at the London Food Co-op, colleagues, and neighbours.  He was a kind and gentle soul, who had much affection for children and animals.  He will be greatly missed.

Special thanks to all of the caregivers at London Health Sciences Centre, Cardiac Care.
