LATIMER, Joy – Peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, Marjorie Joy Latimer, nee Barnes of London in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Latimer (2005). Dear mother of Susan Vanstone, Paul (Dale), Mary (Reno) and Sally. Loving grandmother of Heidi Vanstone (Sal Pace), Jen Chinea (Nick), Kim Robitaille (Jesse), Siobhan Latimer (Jeff Shred), Andrew Wright and great grandmother of Noah, Sarah, Samuel, Sebastian and Morgan. Dear sister of Mary Aitkens of Montreal and sister-in-law of Bonnie Barnes of Peterborough. Predeceased by her two brothers. Joy loved the Lord dearly and was so thankful to Him for her many blessings. Special thanks to Dr. Hertzman, nurses Raj and Lorna of the Palliative Care Team, PSWs Bev, Linda, Michelle, Mary-Jane and Joy for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be conducted at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond on Saturday, December 21 at 1 pm. Visitation will precede the service from 12 noon – 1 pm.
