McGUGAN, Joy – Peacefully at University Hospital on Saturday, January 21, 2023, Joy Kathleen McGugan, nee Morris in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Ross C. McGugan (2015). Dear mother of Robert McGugan and his wife Margaret, Scott McGugan and his wife Terry and James McGugan and his partner Connie. Loving grandmother of Ian, Jon (Jenna) and Mac (Sarah). Dear sister of the late Jean Carlson. Joy was a long-time cashier at Miracle Mart. She and Ross enjoyed their summers camping at Fanshawe Lake where they made many good friends. The funeral service will be conducted at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond on Thursday, January 26 at 3 pm, with visitation preceding from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Private interment St. Georges Cemetery, Hyde Park at a later date. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged.
