Obituary

GILMORE, Julia – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Sunday, February 16, 2025, Julia Edith Gilmore of London and formerly of Toronto in her 61st year.  Beloved daughter of Jean M. (Osborne) and the late Terry Gilmore.  Loving sister of Peter and Caroline Gilmore.  Predeceased by grandparents Dr. Wm and Marion Gilmore and Art and Grace Osborne.  She will be fondly remembered by her aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Julia was a long-time employee of Canadian Blood Services in Toronto. She was an incredibly passionate scuba diver who loved to go on dive trips in exotic destinations.

A memorial service will be held at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond on Friday, February 21 at 1 p.m. with visitation preceding from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.  Reception to follow. Cremation with private interment later at Avondale Cemetery, Stratford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the animal charity of your choice or St. Joseph’s Hospice would be appreciated.
