DESBOIS, Kathy – Peacefully at home with family by her side on Saturday, April 29, 2023, Marie Kathy Lynn Desbois (Pelland) of Callander, Ontario age 55, passed after a 5-1/2 years battle with cancer.  Beloved wife for 33 years of Dean Desbois.  Loving mother of Megan Lynn Desbois West and her husband Greg, and Kyle Olida Desbois.  Proud grandmother of William Matthew West and Aryll Lynn West.  Dear sister of Joseph David Pelland and his wife Shelly and aunt of Cody.  Daughter of Margaret and the late Homer Pelland.  Kathy enjoyed her career in financial work for several different institutions.  Most of all, she loved her family dearly, always knitting, baking, and caring for them.  She liked nothing more than being with her grandkids.  A memorial service will be held at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James at Richmond, on Wednesday, May 3 at 1 pm.  Reception to follow. Cremation with interment later in Callander, Ontario.
