Lorraine Shuttleworth (Ivey)

July 31, 1919 – March 15, 2018

On March 15th in London, Ontario, at home, age 98, daughter of Richard Green Ivey and Jean Macaulay, sister of Richard M. Ivey of Toronto and the late Pauline Ivey de Gueugnier. Beloved mother of Nan (Bill Switzer), and Martha. Mother-in-law to Susan. Pre-deceased by her son Jamie and by James Murray Shuttleworth. Dear Grandmother to Erica (Michael Rothfeld), Laura (Matthew Swarney), Zoe Coombes (David Boira), and Hugh Switzer. Great Gran to Stella, Emma, Sebastian, Oliver, Alexander, Lucy and Pau. Over many years Lorraine served as a board member of several health-related entities in London and was President of the Richard and Jean Ivey Fund, a charitable foundation from 1965 to 1997. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 4th at 11 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 280 St. James Street in London. Reception to follow immediately after at the London Hunt and Country Club.
