Margaret Turnbull

Obituary

Margaret Rose Adair Turnbull
(nee Tisdall)
November 15, 1926 – June 30, 2018

Surrounded by love, by family and at peace, Margaret passed away on June 30, 2018 at the age of 91 years. Kind and gracious to the end, she lived life and faced death on her own terms. Predeceased by her husband Bob, Margaret was the beloved mother of Martha and Stephanie, mother-in-law “Maggie” to John and Todd and best grandma ever to Paul.

A proud lifelong Londoner, community was everything to Margaret. She always counted her blessings and at the top of her list was her family and many close friends including “third daughter” Sharon Naish who assisted Margaret faithfully in her latter years.

Margaret was artistic in many ways – she loved the outdoors and she loved to garden. In recognition of Margaret’s love of nature and beauty, flowers are most welcome; alternatively, you are invited to make a donation in memory of Margaret to a charity of your choice.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 4 at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 280 St. James Street, London, followed by a reception in the Parish Hall and interment at St. John’s Cemetery, Arva. We welcome all whose lives Margaret touched to come celebrate her life with us.
