Obituary

VanDusen-Purvis, Merle – Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, Helen Elsie Merle VanDusen-Purvis of London and formerly of Oakville and Toronto in her 79th year. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Andrea Purvis and granddaughter Jordyn McGuire. Dear sister of Glen VanDusen and his wife Julie. Daughter of the late Harold and Melva VanDusen and sister of the late Allan VanDusen.

Merle had many beloved pets and enjoyed family holiday traditions.

Merle had a creative flair. She enjoyed knitting toys, hats and sweaters for her children, as donations and for her pets. She was a confectioner of chocolate for her family, neighbours and friends for birthdays, Easter, Halloween and Christmas.

Merle enjoyed gardening and for several years volunteered as head of the gardening team for her townhouse complex.
