MOUSSA, Milad – Quietly, after a courageous battle of cancer, at Parkwood Hospital on Saturday, June 6, 2020, Milad Sami Zaky Moussa Sr. of London age 60. Loving father of Milad Moussa Jr. of London and Sonya Moussa of Toronto. Fondly remembered by his wife Nancy, twin brother Abdel Moussa of London, sisters Sohair Boudjema of Toronto and Sonia Moussa in Egypt. Predeceased by brother Zaky Moussa. Grandfather to Cashius, Destiny, Madalyn and Memphis. Loving Nephew to Samir, and Samia, and cousin to Howaida and Yasmeen. Dear uncle of Mary, Chris, Lisa, Paul, Alex, David, Crystal, Mira and the late Riad. Also remembered by many more nieces and nephews, as well as other family and friends.
Milad was a charming, kind man who loved his family and had a wonderful sense of humour. He was the ‘king of dares’ and never backed down from a challenge. He enjoyed his tropical fish, was a collector of coins and hockey cards and enjoyed creating rhymes of poetry. Everyone will remember him for his generosity, practical jokes and infectious laugh. May he rest in sweet peace and we know he is watching over us.
A private family funeral was conducted by Fr. Johannes Awadalla of St. Paul Coptic Orthodox Church. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
