VISITATION

Visitation on Friday from 2-4 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St at Richmond.  Visitation will also take place on Saturday, May 13 from 12-2 pm at the London Salvation Army Citadel, preceding the funeral service at 2 pm.

SERVICE

The funeral service will be conducted at our mom’s church The Salvation Army London Citadel, 555 Springbank Drive at Wonderland, on Saturday, May 13 at 2 pm, with visitation preceding at the church from 12 noon - 2 pm, Saturday.

Donations

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Salvation Army (London Citadel) or the Family Council of McGarrell Place would be appreciated.

Obituary

WRIGHT, Olive – 1918-2023 – 105 years of wonderful health and happiness. Olive was Promoted to Glory on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Loving wife of the late Eber Wright. Beloved mother of Terrence and his wife Lynn, Lorraine and her husband Bill, and the late Lawrence Wright (2000). Mother-in-law of Janette. Proud Grandma of Michelle, Christopher, Heather, Drew, Bradley, and Eric; great-grandmother of Tiffany, Kristen, Hannah, Sophia, Lucas, Rowan, Jonathan, Evangeline, Benjamin, and Olive; and great-great-grandmother of Jelil, Ayla and Kivah. Sister of the late Bella Brewer, Elizabeth Bridle, Joseph Davis and Oney Gauld. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Olive lived in London her whole life. She was a Godly Christian woman who was very involved in her church and a beautiful example to her family. Olive has remained true to the Lord and has let her light shine to everyone she met.

Olive has been loved, cared for and supported by the caring staff at McGarrell Place for the past 5 years. We thank Dr. Karen Lo and all the amazing staff for making her last years so comfortable at McGarrell.
