POOVAN, Paulose Thomas – born on March 23, 1949, and dearly beloved husband of Lizy Poovan, peacefully passed away on June 27, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospice after battling a chronic illness. He is survived by his devoted children Sunil and Gracy, Anil and Sheetal, Sunitha and Sebastian, and his adored grandchildren.
Paulose lived a life filled with passions for gardening, cooking, and exploring new places. He was known for his boundless generosity and unwavering commitment to his family, always putting their needs above his own. His natural gift for guiding and encouraging others through tough times left a profound impact on everyone he touched. Paulose leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff and volunteers of Victoria Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospice for their exceptional care and support. Paulose Thomas Poovan will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Visitation on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 4-7pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James Street at Richmond, London. Prayers at 5:30, at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on July 3, 2024, at 10am at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, followed by interment at St. Peters Cemetery, 806 Victoria Street, London. Please join us at the Parish Hall of Holy Family Church for a Celebration of Life lunch in honor of Paulose Thomas Poovan, following the Mass. Your presence will mean a lot to us as we gather to remember and celebrate his life together.
