VISITATION

Visitation on Wednesday, July 3 from 5-8 pm at Harris Funeral Home, 220 St. James St. at Richmond. Prayer to take place at 7:30pm.

SERVICE

The funeral service will be conducted at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday, July 4 at 11 am. Interment Woodland Cemetery.

Obituary

Peter Giannopoulos

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice with his loving family at his side on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Panagiote (Peter) Giannopoulos of London passed away peacefully in his 79th year. Beloved husband of 60 years to Pat.  Loving father of Sam (Maggie) Giannopoulos, Gus (Tina) Giannopoulos, and Paula (Bill) Denezis. Dear Pappou of Sonny (Jaime), Chloe (Jacob), Georgina (Conor), Peter (Megan), Nicole (Mark) and Alex. Proud great-grandfather of Daxton, William, Emmett, Nicholas, Teddy, Gus, Roman and Elena.  Predeceased by his brothers. Peter will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends in Canada and Greece. 

Peter was devoted to his wife Pat who loved and cared for him deeply for over 60 years. Peter was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved traveling with his family, especially to his hometown in Greece.
